The thing you're most passionate about is not the answer to every problem

I have seen so many workplace initiatives fail, or not achieve as much as they could, because of a bias towards the thing the designer/stakeholder likes the most.
When we’re dealing with people’s livelihoods we have a responsibility to be objective and aware of our biases.
Don’t shoehorn your favourite tehcnology/process/idea into other people’s lives. You’ll get much better results by focusing on what the best thing is for that context, for that moment in time, for that group of people.
